Fans are invited to help recognize a successful Moncton Wildcats season.
Celebrations will be held on Monday, June 2, in downtown Moncton.
“The team’s accomplishments have generated significant momentum and brought fans together across the region. Their success has reinforced enthusiasm for junior hockey in Moncton, with record attendance, widespread community engagement, and strong support from local businesses and organizations,” Director of Events and Venues Shane Porter said. Events will include music, food, autograph signings with the Moncton Wildcats, children’s activities and a parade.
“It’s set to go from City Hall, marching up to the Avenir Centre plaza,” Porter adds.
6 p.m.: Victory Parade – Main Street
🏒 The Moncton Wildcats, accompanied by their mascot, Wild Willie, will take part in a victory parade on Main Street, from Moncton City Hall up to Downtown Place.
🏒 The entire community is invited to come cheer on the Wildcats along Main Street during the parade.
6:30 p.m.: Community Celebration – Downtown Place
✒️ Autograph signing session with Moncton Wildcats players
🎸 Live music by Jugglers’ Whole and Tcheu Misère
🏰 Bouncy castles and family activities (face painting, and other)
🌭 Food truck on site
🐯 Appearances by Wild Willie, the Wildcats’ mascot
A temporary street closure for the parade will be in place from 5 pm until 7 pm on Monday. The Moncton City Council meeting originally scheduled for Monday, June 2, has been postponed to June 3 to allow everyone to take part in the festivities.
