A fire has extensively damaged a home in Riverview.
Riverview Fire and Rescue arrived on Lindsay Crescent at around 5:30 pm Sunday to find flames coming from the back of the bungalow.
Deputy Chief Geoff Fisher says it took approximately three hours to ensure the fire was extinguished.
Seventeen Riverview Fire and Rescue firefighters, one Chief Officer and one support person responded. Moncton Fire also provided mutual aid.
RCMP, Ambulance New Brunswick and NB Power also provided assistance at the scene.
A neighbouring home was also damaged due to heat from the fire.
No one was home at the time, and luckily, no one was hurt.
The cause is still under investigation.
