Lawn Bowling!
Who knew it could be so hard.
This past weekend I got to hang out at the Big Brothers Big Sisters Rowling Big: Lawn Bowing for Brighter Futures event! An opportunity to support mentorship in Greater Moncton!
They had 6 places for teams to register a team to go head-to-head in a intense game of lawn bowling. Each team registered was on step closer to stronger mentorship in our Greater Moncton community.
I was there during one of their sessions and even got to try out some lawn bowling. It’s a lot harder than it looks. But they had a lovely team of volunteers that were there to help you learn how to play and explain all the rules. No experience was needed!
And on top of that they had the talented Barry Williams playing live music as well!
AND even had goodie bags and prizes.
What a fun event.
