Music, energy and East Coast spirit will fill the Saint John waterfront as Area 506 marks 10 years of unforgettable moments.
From Friday to Sunday, the Container Village will welcome thousands of concertgoers for a three-day festival featuring some of Canada’s top musical acts.
Founder Ray Gracewood said the milestone event remains focused on highlighting New Brunswick’s culture while showcasing high-calibre performers from across the country.
Alongside the live music, the Waterfront Container Village will host family-friendly activities, pop-up experiences, food trucks and the popular vendor market.
Friday’s performers include Broken Social Scene, Matt Mays, The Last Call, Poets and Liars, and The Kingston Collective.
On Saturday, the lineup features Alexisonfire, Death From Above 1979, Cancer Bats, The Motorleague, The Merci Buckets, Wolf Castle with The Olympic Symphonium, and Today Junior.
Sunday’s closing sets will include The Arkells, Half Moon Run, Ria Mae, Maggie Andrew, Baie, Ura Star and Fireball Kid, and Red Cardinal.
Tickets remain available, with general admission, VIP and pod-based options. Admission is open to all ages, and children 12 and under can attend free when accompanied by an adult.
A payment plan is also available for those who prefer to split the cost of their pass.
The gates open Friday afternoon for Area 506, with performances continuing throughout the weekend.
