Tens of thousands of country music fans from all over the Maritimes, Ontario, Quebec and beyond are in Greater Moncton.
They’ve converged on the tri-communities for a huge country party.
The gates opened at 1 p.m. on Thursday in Dieppe for this year’s three day YQM Country Fest featuring artists including Jelly Roll, Luke Bryan and Kane Brown.
Artists are performing at the MusiqArt site, and over 20,000 are expected to attend each night.
Some important information for those attending the shows:
- Bracelets can be picked up at Cousteau Park in Dieppe. You must have one for admission.
- Broken bracelets can be replaced for $20, but if you lose yours, you’re out of luck.
- You’ll need cash if you’re going to enjoy a few beverages during the show.
- Once you have entered the concert grounds, you may not exit. There is no re-entry.
- Each person is permitted to bring a one-litre sealed bottle of water onto the concert site
- If you have a chir, better get there early. Once the limit for chairs has been reached, no more will be permitted
