Calling all snowmobile enthusiasts!
Mark February 13 and 14 on your calendars for a new event coming to downtown Moncton.
Manager of Events and Festivals Chad Gautreau says they’ve partnered with TRIBU Expérientiel, which is based in Quebec, to bring a snowmobile stunt show to the Hub City.
“We are excited to partner with BARBEGAZI to bring a unique and exhilarating experience to Moncton for Family Day weekend,’’ says Chad Gautreau, Manager of Events & Festivals.
‘‘Snowmobiles will be flipping in the air right in front of the Avenir Centre, and there is going to be live music with that event.”
This event is part of PolarFest 2026, which takes place from February 13 to 16.
“We can’t wait to bring the BARBEGAZI energy to Moncton!” says Micah Desforges, CEO of TRIBU Expérientiel. “We’ve built BARBEGAZI around bold ideas and high-adrenaline performances, and we’re excited to share that thrill with everyone at PolarFest.”
Gautreau adds that there are some of the best snowmobile stunt performers and athletes in the world, “It’ll provide an unforgettable experience.”
This event will feature two 25–30 minute snowmobile stunt shows from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on February 13 and 14.
For those who have never attended PolarFest, it takes place at various locations around the city between February 13 and 16. Downtown Place will host various activities, including skating at the Ian Fowler Oval, live music performances, and more! A selection of food trucks will be on-site, offering a variety of tasty bites.
At Centennial Park, event-goers will be able to enjoy a range of winter activities, including horse-drawn wagon rides, skating on the Muskrat Skating Trail, a Geomatrix Fire Show, live music performances, and much more.
