Canadians aren’t exactly excited for winter, according to a poll by Narrative Research.
With winter officially just a week away, 60 percent of Canadians say they would rather skip the ski hills, sledding and skating.
Especially for those who live in the Prairies and Atlantic Canada.
And the excitement for the snowy season seemed to decrease with age as Gen Z (aged 18-24) Canadians are far more likely to look forward to winter than Baby Boomers who are roughly 55 years and older.
Also, according to the poll, newer immigrants to Canada are much more excited for snow than those who arrived more than 11 years ago.
Most want to head directly into spring.
