Sommo Festival in Cavendish, PEI, has announced two of its headlining acts for 2026.
Twenty-One Pilots and Sombr will perform on September 11 and 12.
Grammy-winning duo Twenty One Pilots rose to global fame with their breakthrough album Blurryface and hit singles “Stressed Out” and “Ride.” Recognized as one of the most compelling acts in music, the band’s set is expected to highlight fan-favourites alongside hits from their latest critically acclaimed album, Breach.
sombr is a New York City-born artist who first broke through with his viral hit “Caroline” before climbing to more than 500 million monthly streams. His 2025 debut album, I Barely Know Her, debuted at #1 on Spotify’s Global Albums Chart and delivered three Billboard Hot 100 hits, including the billion-stream smash “back to friends” and the decade-defining Alternative Radio #1 “undressed.”
Sommo Festival debuted in 2023 and sees upwards of 20,000 fans each year. It combines music with the culinary experience of Prince Edward Island.
