The City of Moncton has launched its latest initiative called Keeping Moncton Clean, and they’re hoping residents will dedicate some time to help out.
All you have to do is sign up online.
City Councillor Dawn Arnold says it’s important that we pitch in an help keep our city beautiful. She says it makes our lives better if we don’t have to look at trash all over the place, and it’s a lot more welcoming to guests as well.
She has organized her own clean up. Tonight at 7pm, she is inviting everyone to meet at the Goji’s on Mountain Road, with a garbage bag in hand and be ready to clean for one hour.
The Keep Moncton Clean project runs until May 31st.
