The Moncton Miracles will honour the late Ian Fowler at their upcoming game on February 27th at the Moncton Coliseum.
They have 4000 tickets to give away, thanks to the purchase of those tickets by their sponsors.
Fowler passed away on November 5th, 2011. He was the City of Moncton’s General Manager of Economic development, Tourism and Culture, and he contributed much to bring sports and concerts to our city.
The Miracles will retire his jersey in honour of the contribution made to basketball in Moncton.
The team is hoping to attract a record attendance in honour of Fowler and also to cheer the Miracles to victory.
Tickets can be acquired by going on line at www.tickets.moncton.ca and then using the promo code “fowler”. You can get up to 6 free tickets per person.
Tickets are also available through Moncton area schools and minor basketball.
