A long-time staple of breakfast television is getting the axe.
After 44 years, CTV has announced that ‘Canada AM’ has been cancelled and tomorrow will be the last show.
‘Canada AM’ hosts Marci Ien and Beverly Thomson will transition into other roles within the network and weatherman Jeff Hutchison has decided to retire.
Parent company Bell Media says CTV Newschannel programming will be simulcast during the time period starting next week.
