A recently retired oncologist for the Moncton Hospital is being honoured.
Well respected oncologist Dr. Sheldon Rubin’s name will now grace the Oncology Clinic.
Health Minister Victor Boudreau says it’s only fitting, considering the work Dr. Rubin put in to establish the clinic.
Horizon Health Network Board Chair David Ferguson added Dr. Rubin’s contributions to the field of oncology, the hospital and the community will inspire all who are treated or work at the clinic.
The clinic first opened in 2014, and has since become one of the most active medical oncology services in the entire province.
