If you live in Rothesay or Quispamsis you are in the safest places to live in all of Canada according to Macleans Magazine.
In its list of the 237 Canadian urban areas the two towns with a total population of 29,000 have a crime severity index or CSI of 18.25, that is almost 55 points lower than Canada’s overall score of 72.9.
Rothesay and Quispamsis had the lowest rate of break and enters in 2017 with just 18 incidents or a rate of 61.32 per 100,000 people.
The two towns are the only ones in Atlantic Canada to make the top 50 list.
As for NB’s three largest cities, Greater Moncton’s CSI was 98, Fredericton 86 and Saint John 79.
