Sixty new memory care beds have been allocated in the Moncton region.
Premier Brian Gallant made the announcement this morning during a visit at The Briarlea Home.
36 of them will go to the Grass Home in Riverview and 24 to Serenity Senior Living in Moncton.
These beds assist seniors who have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
As a part of the nursing home plan, the provincial government is investing in over 400 memory care beds that will go to homes across the province.
