Prince Edward Island is stepping up to help New Brunswick recover from this spring’s historic flooding.
The Island government announcing it will donate $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross.
PEI Liquor retail stores are also accepting donations for flood relief efforts during the next two weeks.

Premier Wade MacLauchlan says in a statement it’s the Island way to help their neighbours in times of need, and their hearts are with New Brunswick as residents begin to clean up, rebuild and persevere.
Nova Scotia already announced a $100,000 donation for flood relief to the Red Cross.
