Nearly two dozen firefighters from New Brunswick have left for Alberta to help battle forest fires in that province.
More than 20 fires are burning throughout the province and five of them are listed as out of control.
There are more than 300 people on the ground helping to fight those blazes.
So far this year in Alberta, nearly 500 wildfires have burned more than 20,000 hectares of land.
22 New Brunswick firefighters are travelling to Alberta today to help battle forest fires in that province.
