After a spring that seemed to sputter, many New Brunswickers are likely looking forward to summer.
The Weather Network has unveiled its forecast for the upcoming season.
Meteorologist Nadine Powell says temperatures are looking good especially as the summer goes on.
“More or less near normal for much of the province, maybe areas for the extreme south. So that may [include] the Moncton area as well, maybe just nudging a little bit above (normal),” she says.
The summer could be more humid than usual and precipitation should be near normal except it could be wetter along the coast.
Powell adds it likely won’t be a scorching summer but she does expect that overnight temperatures will be a bit warmer than normal.
