With the provincial election a year away, support for the Provincial Liberals is holding steady at 47 per cent of decided voters. According to the poll conducted by Corporate Research Associates, 32 per cent support the Conservative Party, the NDP is at 12 per cent and the Green Party has 7 per cent support.
The percentage of undecided has decreased from 36 to 30 percent.
Half of the people surveyed say they’re satisfied with how the Liberals are doing with four in ten dissatisfied.
Support for Premier Brian Gallant is highest among the leaders at 36 percent compared to 31% in May with support for PC leader Blaine Higgs at 20 percent and preference for Green Party leader David Coon remains at 11 percent. Newly-elected NDP leader Jennifer McKenzie is backed by seven percent and Kris Austin of the People’s Alliance is preferred by two percent.
