The Trudeau Government plans to do more to explain its proposed controversial tax changes.
Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau says there’s alot of stories circulating that just aren’t true. Nonetheless, Morneau says he’s open to making changes after the public consultation ends.
Morneau says what the government is aiming to do with the tax system is getting support from nurses and the Canadian Labour Congress.
Morneau adds, according to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, two-thirds of small business owners earn $73 thousand or less a year and, as such, would not be affected by what’s being proposed.
