The public is welcome to attend a busy meeting of Moncton City Council tonight.
One of the first items up for debate is a public hearing on the controversial proposal to rezone a park into a parking lot for the redevelopment of the former Moncton High School.
A rezoning application for the Harper Street Hotel has also received objections and will be discussed.
Chief Financial Officer John Martin is presenting two budgets for 2018, the Operating Budget and the Utilities Budget.
Tonight Council will only deliberate on the Utilities Budget.
The meeting begins at 5 o’clock in Council Chambers at City Hall.
