A Liberal candidate has been named to run in Moncton Northwest in the next provincial election on September 24th, 2018.
Courtney Pringle-Carver was nominated during an Liberal meeting over the weekend.
Pringle-Carver is known for her contributions as a volunteer for many organizations in the community..She is involved with the Codiac regional Policing Authority, Frye Festival, Crossroads for Women and the YWCA.
The goal of the Liberal party is to have women make up 50 per cent of the candidates nominated in ridings not currently held by Liberals.
Conservative MLA Ernie Steeves was elected in the Moncton Northwest riding in 2014.
