A fire in an apartment building on Curry Street in Moncton, has left at least 26 tenants displaced.
The Canadian Red Cross says the fire started in a unit on the top floor of the four storey apartment building.
Firefighters managed to keep it contained to the one unit, but there is water damage to the lower apartments.
Fifteen tenants made arrangements for temporary lodging, while the water is being cleaned up.
The Red Cross provided emergency lodging and food for 11 other tenants.
There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
