Three local charities will benefit from a fall pop up sale being held in Moncton this weekend.
Twenty-five vendors will take part in this boutique that features both new and used goods, some of them being sold on consignment.
Co-Owner for Grapevine Events Cary Beaumont says one part of the sale will feature wedding and prom style dresses. Those that remain after the sale will be donated., “There is a group at the Baptist Church that is putting together what they are calling Project Prom Dress, so what they are trying to do is find donations of prom gowns and accessories for grads who might now otherwise be able to go to prom.”
The other two groups that will benefit are Harvest House Atlantic, who will receive leftover clothing as a donation, “They are going to use the donated clothing to help women in their programs”, Beaumont says.
Parkland Riverview retirement community will also receive a monetary donation. One of the consignors plans to give 70 per cent of their sales to the Palliative care unit.
The Fall Pop-Up Boutique will be held at the Coliseum on Saturday, November 18th from 10 until 2.
