A weather warning has been issued by the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization.
All of New Brunswick is currently under a special weather statement with a few areas of the province in central and western New Brunswick under a freezing rain warning as well.
There are two storm systems on the way to the province according to Environment Canada including one on Christmas Day which at this point looks like a snowfall event with the highest amounts in the south.
EMO says be careful when walking or driving because surfaces can be slippery and poor weather conditions might lead to transportation delays. You’re also reminded to be ready in case of an emergency or power outage and to have everything you need for at least 72 hours after a storm.
