Prime Minster Justin Trudeau shuffled his cabinet today.
The move comes after MP Scott Brison stepped down recently from his position as President of the Treasury Board.
Three Cabinet Ministers are switching portfolios.
Jane Philpott assumes Scott Brison’s former role as Treasury Board President as well as Minister of Digital Government.
Former Attorney General and Justice Minister, Jodi Wilson-Raybould moves to Veterans Affairs.
Seamus O’Regan vacates his Veterans Affairs post to head up Indigenous Services.
The two new faces are former Parliamentary Secretaries.
David Lametti is now Attorney General and Justice Minister.
The other newcomer is MP Bernadette Jordan who takes on the new portfolio of of Rural Economic Development Minister.
Jordan has become the first female cabinet minister to come from Nova Scotia.
