As the end of the school year approaches, many kids will be heading off to summer camp.
Camp Centennial kicks off next week and they are eager to receive its campers.
John Savage, director of the camp says they offer a variety of activities for kids aged 5 to 15.
“Really they’re outside all day and the activities range from canoeing, a bit of repelling to swimming and lots field games and a outdoor cooking. For some of these kids their really learning these for the first time and others are given the opportunity to teach and help the other campers as well,” Savage says.
The Camp runs 5 days a week over 9 weeks, up until August 19th.
Registration fills up quickly for the camp but Savage says a few spots available for different age groups.
